Concert violinist Nicolas Orbovich was playing a bitter tune a week ago, when his 115-year-old violin was stolen from his car in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
But Michigan City Police have have brought sweet relief to Orbovich, telling him they have his violin.
"It came in this morning. It has been recovered," Orbovich said on Saturday.
The concert violinist said he will know more information on the violin theft on Monday.
Orbovich had met with police and also did some detective work of his own in order to try and retrieve his instrument.
He said someone did attempt to pawn off the violin, but the store didn't purchase it.
However, the store did have video surveillance footage of the person.
No matter what happened to it, the return of Orbovich's priceless violin is certainly music to his ears.
