Indiana license branches will be open extra hours Monday and Tuesday so voters can obtain photo identification that is required before they can cast ballots.
Full service branches of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Those wishing to obtain ID cards will need to present a birth certificate or passport, plus a secondary document such as a pay check stub or a signed credit card, as well as proof of residency, such as a utility bill. The ID cards are issued free of charge for voting purposes.
License branch customers seeking state-issued photo ID cards or driver's licenses for voting purposes will receive priority over other customers both days.
