Apple Festival wraps up with craft and car shows

On Sunday, hundreds came out for the craft show at the Apple Festival in Niles, Michigan. A variety of vendors were on hand to show off their merchandise.

Even the first-time vendors were able to see how important the show is to the festival.

“It’s a great turn out; this is great for Niles. This brings all the people out. You get to see what is going on, talk to people, and this is a beautiful festival,” said Darryl Hagey, who participated for the first time this year.

Hagey continued, “[I] definitely will be back, we have already booked, in fact, Niles for next year. I like this spot, so we will definitely be back.”

Apple Fest organizers hope to get even more vendors for next year’s show.

Aside from the craft show, there is also a car show. With over 250 cars, there was a little something for everyone.

The show featured everything from old muscle cars to brand new cars, and even old cars with some new twists.
