Rochester man pleads guilty to murder

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to killing a motel owner in 2005.

Thirty four-year old Mark Shane Baker will get life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing the owner of Rochester’s Rosedale Motel.

He admitted to killing Mustansar Chaudhry, 69 years old, and then stuffed his body into a water softener.

Baker was the hotel's manager and Baker’s girlfriend, Bianca Newgent, also worked at the hotel.

She was sentenced yesterday to 93 years in prison.

Before the killing, police say the pair forced the victim to write them checks totaling 5,500 dollars.
