Body identified as missing Chicago woman

Authorities in Illinois have now confirmed they've found the body of a woman missing for more than a week.

Twenty eight-year old Nailah Franklin was reported missing last week when she did not show up for work.

Family members and volunteers soon launched a frantic search with fliers, a newspaper ad and even a website.

Yesterday, a woman's body was discovered not far from where Franklin’s car was found abandoned in Hammond, Indiana.

Officials were quick to announce they had found Franklin but then changed their mind, saying they were not sure the woman's body was hers.

Today, Chicago police identified the body as Franklin after looking at an autopsy and dental records.
