Humane Society seeking help in tracking down suspect

It was an awful act of animal cruelty, and now the Indiana Humane Society is offering a $2500 reward to help track down the person who set a puppy on fire.

The horrible crime happened in Michigan City, where someone set a four-month-old pit bull puppy on fire, leaving it with fatal burns.

The puppy, named Snoopy, had to be euthanized.

There currently are no suspects in the attack. The puppy’s owner said that Snoopy must have been taken off of his leash in her fenced in backyard.
