Kiwanis Club honors Elkhart County Student-Athletes of the Year
Concord's Anthony Yoder and Elkhart Central's Megan Ellis were named the Student Athletes of the Year by the Kiwanis Club of Elkhart County's Luncheon Tuesday in Elkhart.

Concord's Anthony Yoder and Elkhart Central's Megan Ellis were named the Student Athletes of the Year by the Kiwanis Club of Elkhart County Tuesday in Elkhart.
NewsCenter 16's Angelo Di Carlo served as the guest speaker for the luncheon, which recognized eight exceptional student athletes from Concord, Memorial, Central and Northridge.
The following were the eight nominees honored:
Concord
Melanie Meyer - Volleyball, Basketball and Softball
Anthony Yoder - Football, Basketball and Track
Elkhart Memorial
Haley King - Golf and Basketball
Marshall Yeoman - Cross Country, Swimming and Track
Elkhart Central
Megan Ellis - Volleyball, Swimming, Track and Field
Mason Braden - Tennis and Basketball
Jimtown
Alicia Ward - Volleyball, Basketball and Softball
Brian Hosinski - Football, Basketball and Track
Ellis and Yoder were selected to receive scholarships thanks to their excellent work on the field as well as in the classroom and in the community.
