Swine flu vaccines still available across Michiana in November
The swine flu vaccine is free and only available for those in the high risk priority groups at this time.

Flu season continues in full swing and if you haven't gotten your swine flu vaccine yet, there are still opportunities.
In St. Joseph County you can get your shot or nasal mist from 8:30 to 11 a.m. or 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays through November 30. That's available on the 9th floor of the County-City building in South Bend.
Or Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the same times in the County Services building in Mishawaka.
Elkhart County:
- November 24: Elkhart County Health Dept.
608 Oakland Avenue, Elkhart
2-4 p.m.
Only for pregnant women or children ages 6-35 months
In Noble County, there is one more clinic left in November:
- November 23: Saint Mary's Elementary School
232 North Main St., Avilla
4 to 7 p.m.
Van Buren/Cass District Health Deptartment:
- November 24: Sam Adams Elementary School
101 South East St., Cassopolis
5-8 p.m.
In Berrien County, there are five more clinics throughout November:
- November 30: First Church of God
St. Joseph
3 to 7 p.m. - December 4: Niles High School
Small gymnasium, Niles
3 to 7 p.m. - December 6: Andrews University Gym
Berrien Springs
12 to 4 p.m. - December 8: New Buffalo High School
New Buffalo
3 to 7 p.m. - December 10: Watervliet Saint Joseph Catholic School
Watervliet
3 to 7 p.m.
These clinics are limited to the following people:
- Pregnant women
- Children and yound adults aged 6 months-24 years: Those under age 18 must have a parent/guardian/adult over 21 years of age with them
- Individuals who live with or care for infants under 6 months old
- Healthcare workers with direct patient contact
- Adults 25-64 years of age with underlying medical conditions. Click here to find the list.
