The focus of downtown Ferndale will be on "green" this weekend with the return of an environmentally awareness fair.

The second annual Live Green Fair opens Friday and runs through Sunday at the intersection of Nine Mile Road and Woodward Avenue in
the northern Detroit suburb.

It's organized into five sections that include home energy conservation, vegetarian and vegan food options, environmentally aware art, and holistic enlightenment.

Speakers will be on hand to discuss the various aspects of green living. Various green products also will be sold.
