LaSalle Square Unity Gardens holds grand opening
South Bend, Ind. The LaSalle Square Unity Gardens held it's grand opening on Saturday as weather gets warmer in Michiana.

The LaSalle Square Unity Gardens held it's grand opening on Saturday as weather gets warmer in Michiana.
Children and adults came out to get their hands dirty, share some vegetables and grow as a community. The event marked the beginning of a season of learning and community activities.
"The unity gardens are growing community in a new way," said Sara Stewart, Executive Director of Unity Gardens. "We're improving all of our health, not only physically, but socially, and learning how to play together again and learning how to share together."
