Whirlie-pool sent jobs to MX long ago, and they have been buying components from India, China, and other low cost countries. Call their tech support and do your best to understand through the accent of what the person on the other end of the line is saying. Their Global Procurement department is one group you do not want to deal with. All about cost and not about quality. yes, I once worked for them. Customers may or may not like them but suppliers abhor them. WHP employs so many good people but those good people do not get into management and up whether by choice or by chance.

I think they meant one of the leanest companies in America.

Everyone knows not to buy Whirlpool now as they're sending the jobs to Mexico so this propaganda has no effect.

Easy to be green when you move everything to Mexico!

I think the greenest part is the grass growing in the parking lot. Also since the jobs have been shipped to China, they don't use much power now, do they ? Green alright.
