With gas prices through the roof, some Bremen students decided to trade in four wheels -- for two.
Several seniors rode their bikes to school Friday morning.
The kids say it also gave them the chance to "go green" and be environmentally friendly.
Many wore green to raise awareness for our planet and the need to conserve energy.
"Hopefully, every year the senior class will hold a ‘ride your bike to work day,’ and it will become a tradition here," said Bremen High School senior Jon Hueni.
There was also a cook-out at the high school, and students collected pop tabs to raise money for Riley Children's Hospital.
