Kid Rock has finally gone digital, sort of. The performer has been one of the main holdouts of letting his music be put on digital music services, because he doesn't want his albums to be sold as singles, as required by sites like iTunes.

He is now letting Rhapsody have a four-month sales run with his catalog. The reason: Rhapsody is letting him sell his music as albums only.

Once the Rhapsody deal ends, Kid Rock will let other digital retailers sell his music, provided it's sold as albums only.

So what ! He is not the first pop star, rapper, cowboy singer or whatever he calls himself to do this. What makes this special or even newsworthy ? I do admit, though some of his stuff is great and some of it should be given away for free. Maybe even to a charity of some sort. BTW, I hope he and his band vote Nov. 4th for legalization of pot in Michigan. Tell your fans to do the same. Now that is a mighty charitable thing to do Mr. Kid Rock. Keep Rockin' and thanks for the free tunes !
