Here's a look at what's new on home video this week.
"Transformers" is now in high-definition. The Blu-ray version of last summer's sci-fi blockbuster hits store shelves today. The two-disc blockbuster has a huge range of behind-the-scenes material, including an interview with executive producer Steven Spielberg, segments with the movie's Pentagon advisers on military action and equipment and commentary with director Michael Bay.
Helen Hunt makes her directing debut with "Then She Found Me." She also stars in this romance about a New York City schoolteacher whose life takes abrupt new turns. Her husband, played by Matthew Broderick, deserts her, while her birth mother reappears in her life. Bette Midler plays the mother. The DVD and Blu-ray versions come with cast interviews and commentary with Hunt.
"Bright Lights, Big City" is back in a 20th anniversary edition. Michael J. Fox stars as a writer partying through Manhattan like a madman to relieve his family strife. The DVD has behind-the-scenes featurettes and commentary with Jay McIerney, who adapted the screenplay from his novel.
This week's TV on DVD releases include "The Big Bang Theory: The Complete First Season," "Life: Season One," "The Office: Season Four," "Desperate Housewives: The Complete Fourth Season," and "Cheers: The Tenth Season."
