TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman is coming back to the airwaves.
The Chapman family confirms that filming is set to resume on the A&E show "Dog the Bounty Hunter." The Hawaii-based series features Chapman and crew in pursuit of bail jumpers.
It was A&E's highest rated show until the cable network yanked it in November after a taped phone conversation surfaced in which Chapman used a racial slur in reference to his son's black girlfriend. He has apologized and has tried to make amends with the network and the black community.
A&E officials say since the show is about second chances, they've decided to accept his apology and resume production. No air date has been announced.
