Former Republican state Rep. Jackie Walorski will get another shot at northern Indiana's 2nd District seat she narrowly lost to Democrat Joe Donnelly two years ago.
The tea party-backed Walorski will face Democratic candidate Brendan Mullen after they both easily won their parties' primaries on Tuesday.
Walorski is campaigning in a more GOP-friendly district than in 2010 after Statehouse Republicans shifted Democratic-leaning LaPorte County and Kokomo from the district and added in Republican areas of Kosciusko County.
Mullen of South Bend is a West Point graduate who served with the Army in Iraq.
Donnelly is giving up the seat to run for the U.S. Senate.
