So what is this guy actually proposing? He invented the government mandate for health insurance, Romneycare, before he was against it (Obamacare). Now, he wants each state to ensure folk are covered, which is nothing more than the government mandate on a state basis...but a government mandate nonetheless! So why would the government mandate work in Massachusetts but not for others on a national, aligned basis. Just what we need: 50 different government mandates! Talk about expanding government!!! And the republicans talk about stepping up and being accountable for yourself, but when the government tells ya to do so (ie buy insurance and stop passing the cost to me!), they claim the government is overreaching. Where is the logic but better yet what is the proposed approach by Romney? And how, exactly, is Romney gonna cut the unemployment rate? How is Romney gonna cut the huge accumulated US debt by reducing taxes? Too many unanswered questions.
