One primary race many in St. Joseph County are still talking about Wednesday is the District 2 County Commissioner's race.
Democratic incumbent Steve Ross lost by a clear margin, as challenger Dave Thomas beat him by almost a thousand votes.
Thomas is looking forward to November and continuing what's been a busy campaign season.
"Where there were people, we were there, and getting the message out. And once voters and citizens were informed, of how things were going on, they said hey we've got to do something about this," said Thomas.
Newscenter 16 spoke with County Commissioner Steve Ross Tuesday about the primary results. He said, "The voters give you the job and the voters take the job away. It's like getting hired and fired by your employer. That's all I can say right now."
