Educators and community leaders from across the state will brainstorm on ways to keep students in school at a forum targeting the state's dropout rate.

The daylong Indiana Dropout Prevention Summit will be held Wednesday at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett will be joined by former Indiana First Lady Judy O'Bannon and author and educator Debbie Silver.

County teams will participate in breakout sessions designed to encourage discussion about ways to prevent students from dropping out of school.
