The St. Joseph School District could see a $2 million dollar deficit in the next year, according to WSJM.

Superintendent Al Skibbe warned parents and educators at the Board of Education meeting Monday evening.

Skibbe said the cuts would come in the wake of Governor Snyder's most recent budget proposals. Skibbe said district officials will do what they can to cut spending this year.

The school board also voted on full day kindergarten classes beginning next year.
