Police say a woman was sexually assaulted while walking in Ann Arbor, which has been on edge since series of attacks on women in July.
Ann Arbor police Sgt. Matt Lige tells AnnArbor.com early Wednesday it's too early to tell whether the assault is related to the earlier attacks.
A crime alert issued by the University of Michigan Department of Public Safety says a 20-year-old woman reported being fondled Tuesday by a man who approached her from behind off campus.
The woman told police that she was able to break free.
In the earlier attacks, two women were raped and four others were grabbed or fondled before breaking free. Those attacks were mostly downtown. Police have said one or two men may be to blame for the attacks.
