Some students in Michiana won't be learning science in a traditional way.
They will experience FMA Live! which is an action-packed interactive show that explains science, math and engineering principles to students through music and dance.
The show is named after Sir Isaac Newton's Second Law (Force= Mass x Acceleration).
The touring group made a stop at Jackson Intermediate on Thursday.
Much of the show is based on careers in engineering and astronomy.
Host Eric Olson says, "You know there is a big need in our country for students following education and careers in those fields and FMA Live is here to hopefully spark an interest to show students that science can be entertaining and educational all at the same time."
The show began as a touring group in 2004 as a collaboration between Honeywell and NASA.
