This does not surprise me at all.The less than 800 village residents have been struggling for years to pay of a multi-million dollar bond when the distict paid a 'thief' to do school updates who ran off with the money. These schools are sadly out of date and do not properly serve the handful of grade school kids who attend. The alt./ed school is nothing more than a funnel for money from the State. If they had not dismissed long-term employees that DID keep records and the administration decided not to 'bother with the details' of enrollment this would never have happened.Close the schools and give these poor kids a chance at a real education and a future and save the residents who have lived their whole lives from losing their homes due to wasted tax dollars. At least 3 other competant school will bus these kids right from their the village or twp. and be happy to get them and NOT waste your money!Hold the responsible staff/admin. criminally liable for this debaucle,NOT the poor residents!
