One of Indiana's most prestigious high school academic competitions will take place at Purdue University's Loeb Auditorium this Saturday, May 5, when the Academic Super Bowl state final is contested.
Starting at 10:15 a.m., four Penn High School teams will be gunning for state crowns in the Social Studies, Math, Science and English areas of competition.
Those four squads are included in a total of 24 teams from around the state in each of six subject areas in which state titles will be awarded. The only two topics in which Penn did not qualify teams for state are Fine Arts and Interdisciplinary.
All state finals qualifiers survived regional competition across Indiana on April 17.

Each competing team is allowed to have three members competing at one time
