Ex-Irish, Romanian leaders at MSU commencements
East Lansing, Mich. Michigan State University says ex-Irish President Mary Robinson and National Science Foundation chief Subra Suresh will speak at its spring graduation ceremonies in East Lansing.

Michigan State University says ex-Irish President Mary Robinson and National Science Foundation chief Subra Suresh will speak at its spring graduation ceremonies in East Lansing.
The university says Robinson will address undergraduates at the
Friday 1 p.m. convocation at the Breslin Center and will receive an honorary doctorate of laws. It says philanthropist and Michigan State alumnus Robert Skandalaris will get an honorary doctorate of business
It says Suresh will address advanced-degree candidates at 7 p.m.
at the Breslin Center and get an honorary doctorate of science.
The school says ex-Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc will get an
honorary doctorate of laws at the evening commencement.
Michigan State says both ceremonies are free and open to the
public.
