Dr. Carole Schmidt shares her goals for South Bend schools
South Bend, Ind. Dr. Carole Schmidt has been offered the superintendent position of South Bend Community School Corporation. She joined 16 Morning News to talk about her goals.

The South Bend schools have a new leader, and it is the woman who has done the job for the last few months. Dr. Carole Schmidt has been offered the superintendent position.
She had been working as interim superintendent since Jim Kapsa retired. Schmidt is a a long-time local school administrator. She has also served as superintendent in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph.
Dr. Schmidt joined 16 Morning News to discuss her goals for the school district.
