A Michigan school district could see some new funds, all thanks to the Four Winds Casino.

According to our reporting partners at WSJM, revenue from the casino may soon help provide scholarships to New Buffalo seniors.

The bill to allow it is expected to be on the agenda for full committee consideration in the state house next week.

Superintendent Mark Westerberg is confident the bill will pass in time for 2010 graduates to be eligible for the scholarships.
