Three Michiana colleges ranked on U.S. News’ annual Best Colleges list

Three Michiana schools have made the list of top colleges or universities in the nation for the 2010 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges.

The University of Notre Dame took the 20th spot for “Top National Universities.” Harvard and Princeton were tied for first place. Other Midwest schools include the University of Michigan at 27, Purdue at 61, and Indiana University-Bloomington at 71.

Bethel College made the list of the top Baccalaureate colleges in the Midwest, coming in at 20th.

St. Mary’s College took the 97th spot for the top liberal arts colleges.
