In less than a year after launching, WGU Indiana Online University says it hired its 100th full-time employee in the Hoosier state.
Gov. Mitch Daniels, who signed an executive order creating WGU Indiana last June, praised the university not only for making an impact on the lives of its more than 1,100 students, but also for strengthening the state's economy by creating meaningful jobs for Hoosiers.
WGU Indiana offers more than 50 online, competency-based degree programs in high-demand career fields.
Each WGU Indiana student is partnered with a mentor, who provides one-on-one coaching, guidance and support from enrollment through graduation.
