The Cash for College campaign in Indiana is holding two events for the state to help students file for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA.
The deadline for filing is in Indiana is March 10. Both current and prospective students must file annually to be eligible for state and federal financial aid.
The form can be completed by going online to FAFSA.gov.
The first of the events being held is FAFSA Friday, Feb. 18. The second is College Goal Sunday on February 20.
FAFSA Friday will be an interactive webinar that will feature financial aid experts. They'll answer questions about filing the FAFSA and financial aid issues. FAFSA Friday will take place at noon and again at 6 p.m. To participate, click on the link on the Big Red Bar.
College Goal Sunday will be held at 39 different locations across the state, starting at 2 p.m. Financial aid experts will be on hand to help with filing and answer questions. Those submitting the FAFSA at a College Goal Sunday location will be eligible to receive a $1,000 Indiana college scholarship. One of the locations is at Elkhart Memorial High School and another is at Goshen College.
