Struggling web giant Yahoo is cutting about 2,000 jobs. That's 14-percent of the company's workers.
The cuts come as new CEO Scott Thompson gets rid of jobs that don't fit his plans for turning yahoo around.
Wednesday's upheaval marks Yahoo's sixth mass layoff in the past four years under three different CEO's.
This one has the deepest cuts yet. 1,500 Yahoo workers were let go in late 2008 as the company coped with the worst of the recession.
Thompson just joined Yahoo from PayPal.
