There will soon be more competition in the Michiana coffee world.
Construction is underway along State Road 933, just north of Cleveland Road, on a commercial retail building that will house a Dunkin' Donuts, Jimmy John’s, Little Caesar’s and Sport Clips barber shop.
The 6,240 square foot structure, which will include drive-thru service at the Dunkin’ Donuts and Jimmy John’s anchor stores, is scheduled to open for business by early October.
Site developer Great Lakes Capital says Dunkin’Donuts, which until now had no St. Joseph County stores, is also looking to open another location on South Bend’s south side. If plans are approved, the business will break ground on a lot at the corner of S. Michigan and Norman Streets, near the U.S. 20 Bypass.
