AAA Michigan says gas prices are 1 cent higher than last week, with a statewide average of $3.65 per gallon.

It surpasses the previous record of $3.64 a gallon set a week ago, and is the third record high in as many weeks.

The auto club says Monday the average is 47 cents higher than last year at this time.

Of the cities AAA Michigan surveyed, the cheapest price is in the Flint area, where a gallon costs $3.61. The highest average can be found in Marquette at $3.73 per gallon.

Drivers in the Detroit area are paying $3.61 a gallon.

The statewide average for biodiesel is $4.33 and $3.15 for ethanol.

AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.

This is Bull!...If Clinton gets in or Barck..They cant lower the gas till around Feb..So we gonna pay 5bucks..n everyone!..will not be fording that inless u r rich it dont matter to them cus there rich so its like chunck change
