Ground turkey recalled

More than 36 million pounds of ground turkey is being recalled, and there's a good chance you may have the recalled item in your refrigerator if you're a Kroger or Aldi customer.

The USDA says all the product is believed to have been made at the Cargill plant in Springdale, Arkansas.

The meat has been linked to one death in California and at least 76 other Salmonella cases in 26 states.

Government health officials say they still do not have enough information to issue a recall for specific brands or companies associated with the dozens of infections.

However on Cargill's website, they are voluntarily recalling Kroger brand ground turkey, Spartan brand ground turkey, and "Fit and Active" lean ground turkey, sold in Aldi.
