Recently gas prices have been slowly dropping in Michiana after sky-rocketing a few weeks ago.
Now, as Memorial Day weekend approaches, some say they are going back up.
Analysts with GasBuddy.com say fuel prices will likely rise over the next 48 hours and through the weekend in the South Bend and the great lakes area.
GasBuddy.com says the majority of stations will start going up as early as Wednesday morning and could reach $4.15 a gallon by the weekend.
Experts blame problems at a refinery in Joliet, Illinois and say prices outside the great lakes will likely continue to slowly fall.
