One of the great challenges in life is threading a needle, but perhaps someone has finally made it easy.

In this week's As Seen On TV test, we see if the One Second Needle actually makes threading a needle easy.

We have a traditional bobbin of thread with a needle on it. We have the one second needle, and it includes eight of the needles in various sizes. It comes in a carousel that spins so when you need a particular needle you just turn it and you can pop the needle out.

It seems no matter what age you are, one of the hardest things to do in life is to thread needle. I am not ashamed to say I need my bifocals to do that. It is going to take me more than a second, I guarantee it. So I missed it, but then eventually got it.

Now we go to the One Second Needle where they say it is easy as loop, pull and you are threaded. We have ourselves a needle and got myself some thread. All I had to do was put it on, loop it, and then it was threaded. That was a lot easier than sitting there and trying to see that hole.

Okay, the chap on the infomercial says he can do this blindfolded, so I tested to see if I could. Yep, sure enough, I can even do it blindfolded.

The One Second Needle worked quite well compared to the traditional way of threading the needle. I did it in about a second; I even did it with a blindfold on and, who knows, maybe guys will start sewing on their own buttons again. Well, let's not ask for miracles here. But definitely for people with vision problems, perhaps for those who have some arthritic issues, the One Second Needle in this contest has it sewn up and gets the thumbs up.
