Annual event sponsored by Stephenson’s set for November 5

Bristol, Indiana – Love fashion and have a passion for animal welfare? Don’t miss the annual Humane Society of Elkhart County’s “Furry Friends Fashion Fair” where pets outshine their owners even though they are wearing the stylish fashions from Stephenson’s. The Humane Society’s Volunteer Guild is hosting its sixth annual “Furry Friends Fashion Fair” runway show and luncheon at Matterhorn Conference Center on Thursday, November 5 starting at noon.

Fellow animal lover Danny Reynolds of Stephenson’s will host the event. This unique fashion show will feature area residents wearing Stephenson’s clothing and accessories escorted by their pets. Proceeds from the “Furry Friends Fashion Fair” benefit the Humane Society of Elkhart County.

“What’s better than a fashion show with a twist celebrating the important work of the Humane Society,” said Danny Reynolds of Stephenson’s. “The event really has become a Michiana tradition with the event growing every year.” Danny, a dog lover himself, is the proud owner of a 13-year-old Yorkie, named Moonbeam.

Tickets for the event are $25.00 each. Ticket price includes lunch and a few surprises followed by a fashion show presented by Stephenson’s.

Additional activities include:

Network & mingle
Meet & greet with the Humane Society’s new executive director, Anne Reel
Exciting raffle and silent auction with must-see holiday gift ideas

“As the Humane Society is seeing record number of animals and residents needing their assistance, we are hoping this year’s fundraiser will break all records,” said Bernice Simms, event coordinator and long-time volunteer with the Humane Society. “The Furry Friends Fashion Show is an ideal way to get involved with the Humane Society and treat yourself too.” Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Elkhart County’s daily work of caring for unwanted and neglected animals.

WHEN: Thursday, November 5, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

WHERE: Matterhorn Conference Center, 2041 Cassopolis Street, Elkhart
