Valentine's Day is right around the corner and the South Bend Chocolate Company is sharing the love.

Anyone who stops by the Chocolate Cafe in downtown South Bend this weekend will be treated to a free hug or kiss.

Of course, while you're there you may want to pick up a little something for your special someone. Employees say treats like chocolate-covered strawberries are top-sellers and the magic lies in the chocolate.

"We start with the great ingredients," explains Bob Radde, the director of operations. "It's a pure milk chocolate. You have to get it to the right temperature so it looks nice and shiny."

The holiday fun continues all weekend. Saturday afternoon a Valentine bear will be downtown to give bear hugs and take pictures with kids.
