There is a unique shopping experience in South Bend this weekend, as vendors from Shipshewana set up shop in the Century Center.

It’s all part of the annual “Shipshewana on the Road” event. Each year, shows are held in venues throughout Michigan, Indiana and Ohio.

The vendors include artisans, crafters, flea market dealers and retail business owners.

Saturday morning shoppers flocked to "Shipshewana on the Road."

Shipshewana is primarily seasonal and shops typically only stay open during the summer months, so this is a good preview.

Vendor Mike Anderson said, "They just do wonderful shows. High quality good vendors, people don't have to worry about purchasing something and having to get a hold of someone because of the product. Just a first class operation."

Shipshewana shops are officially open May through October.

It is going on Saturday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $4 and kids 12 and under are free.
