On Saturday, you can help the environment and clean some electronic clutter from your home.

There are several scheduled events in our area.

The Elkhart Community Schools are also sponsoring an event in conjunction with Green Earth Electronics Recycling.

You can bring your items in from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to Elkhart Central High School.

Goshen College, along with ADEC, is also hosting an event on Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Just bring your electronic items to the College Avenue entrance of Goshen College.

South Bend
In South Bend, you can take part in IU South Bend’s annual recycling fest.

It’s free and organizers say it is a big help in protecting the environment.

You can drop off those unwanted electronics from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parking lot at 20th and Vine.

And if you can’t make it out to any of these events on Saturday, remember that you can drop-off your unwanted electronics at any time at Goodwill.

They take computers, printers, televisions and more at any donation drive-thru window or drop box.

You can even call Goodwill at 574-472-7320 to schedule a pick-up.
