They may be small, but they are some of the most beautiful members of the insect world.
At the Potawatomi Zoo you can see hundreds of butterflies all in one spot.
The zoo’s season exhibit, “Butterflies in Living Color” opened Memorial Day weekend and will remain open through Labor Day.
Inside the greenhouse are countless butterflies sent in from farms all over the world, including South America, Africa and Asia.
Guests can even look through a large viewing window to see the butterflies emerge from their chrysalises.
This is the last year for the exhibit at the Potawatomi Zoo.
