Every second Saturday of the month, the city of Nappanee comes alive with music, entertainment and a whole lot of family fun.

This month's theme, in honor of Valentines Day, is "Love is in the Air".

There will be a soup contest, a fashion show, kids activities, and a free movie for the whole family, "Marmaduke."

Event coordinator Ron Bedward says Nappanee has seen some hard times, just like most of Michiana, but they're standing strong.

"We're so resilient there," said Bedward. "Those times are tough, but we've really come back to say let's keep on going, let's go to the next level. I think a lot of business owners can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And this is something that says let's celebrate once a month."
