Elkhart Environmental Center's recycle and pumpkin smashing event
The Elkhart Enviromental Center will celebrate America Recycles Day Saturday afternoon. Your family can enjoy hands-on recycling projects, a recycled art exhibit, and even get the chance to smash your old carved pumpkins. The pumpkin remains will be used in the Cent'ers compost pile. Today's festivities run from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. For more information on the event call the Elkhart Enviromental Center at 574-293-5070.
