As Sunday approaches there will be plenty of chocolate bunnies and Easter baskets. And, of course, there are numerous Easter egg Hunts in Michiana this weekend.
In Mishawaka, you can take the kids over to an Easter egg hunt at St. Peter Lutheran Church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
At Potato Creek State Park in North Liberty, the Easter egg hunt gets underway on the beach at 10:30 a.m. It's open to kids of all ages, but there is a $2 participation fee. The hunt will be followed egg decorating, crafts and activities.
In St. Joseph, the Easter egg hunt at Lake Bluff Park kicks off at 11:30 a.m. It's for kids ages 2-10 and there are more than 5,000 hidden eggs for them to discover.
In South Bend, the kids can run after thousands of eggs at Coveleski Stadium Saturday at 3:45 p.m. Players will be on the field to help the kids find eggs, along with the Easter Bunny and Swoop. From 4:15-5 p.m. there will be a show for kids with Jetta and the Jelly Beans. The Silver Hawks game follows at 5:30 p.m.
More than 10,000 eggs will be hidden at the soccer fields at Newton Park in Lakeville. The Easter Bunny will be there too, and it all starts Saturday at 9 a.m.
