You can celebrate Christmas the way pioneers did back in the early 1800s, just head to the Elkhart County Historical Museum to learn how.
The museum in Bristol is holding a children’s activity day from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 4.
For just a dollar, kids in preschool through 5th grade can experience a pioneer-era Christmas through crafts and activities, like making clove apples and dough ornaments. They can also try their hand at finger knitting or basic weaving.
