Going door to door is the traditional way to trick-or-treat but one day early, your kids can get candy from flowers!
Friday night, the Conservatory and Greenhouses of Potawatomi Park are holding their first annual "Freaky Flower Fridays".
From 5-8 p.m. parents and kids can tour the conservatory while the kids get candy from volunteers in costume, many of them plant themed.
It's a unique way for kids and families to trick-or-treat but also a way for the kids to learn about nature and conservation.
The event is $10 for a family of four or $3 per person and the proceeds go to benefit the conservatory.
