Tuesday night, residents in Nappanee will come together to keep their neighborhoods safe.
It's the annual Night Out Against Crime party, hosted by local police and neighborhood watch.
There will be free food, games, and a chance for everyone to get to know each other better.
Plus, police, fire, and EMS teams will go through a mock crash caused by an intoxicated driver, showing what they do when victims are trapped inside.
If weather permits, a medical helicopter will land at the scene.
People can also bring their old medicines so officials can dispose of them properly.
The Night Out runs from 6-8 p.m. in the 400-block of North Jackson Street.
