Some things can get sacrificed in the name of the recession – many people aren’t travelling, aren’t eating out, and perhaps, aren’t shopping for the extras.

But when it comes to your health, professionals say, don’t let your finances get in the way.

Several different health care facilities in the community are banding together to make sure women get the care they need and for free.

A pap smear is important for women and has saved millions from getting cervical cancer. That’s why Michiana clinics are giving women 18 years and older an exam for free.
