Some family fun tonight in Shipshewana will support other families struggling in this recession.
The Independence Extravaganza starts tonight at 4 p.m. at the Farmstead Inn, across from the Shipshewana Flea Market.
Local singers and performers will take the stage, including a barbershop quartet.
There will also be treats and games for the kids.
It's free to attend, but they are taking donations for the Shipshewana Ministerial Association, which helps families in need during these tough economic times.
