Mishawaka announces Summerfest schedule
Mishawaka announced the schedule Friday for its 25th annual Summerfest.
The festivities kick off on Thursday, June 26th at Merrifield Park with the battle of the bands.
The events include past favorites like the kid's triathlon and racing pigs, in addition to a new event.
"Best Buy is sponsoring a Guitar Hero competition,” said Mayor Jeff Rea. “So something a little bit different, a little bit fun for you to do. Something that anybody, no matter what age you are, can come and do."
